AC Installation and Replacement

Outdoor condenser installed beside a new brick Sequatchie Valley home
A single outdoor condenser sits on a pad beside a brick home with disconnect wiring.

A new air conditioner is a real investment. It should last 12 to 20 years and run efficiently the whole time. That only happens when the system is sized right, installed cleanly, and matched to your house.

We do not upsell you into more capacity than your home needs. Oversized systems cool the air too quickly, shut off before they remove humidity, run less efficiently, and wear out sooner. A smaller unit that runs longer is usually the better system.

How we size a new AC

We do a Manual J load calculation. That accounts for square footage, insulation, windows, orientation, ceiling height, air leakage, and the details that make your house different from your neighbor’s. Then we recommend equipment matched to that load, not to a rule of thumb.

Central AC or a heat pump?

For most homes in our climate, a modern heat pump is worth serious consideration. It handles both cooling and heating, runs efficiently down to well below freezing, and often costs less to operate than separate AC and gas heat. We will walk you through the trade-offs for your specific house.

Brands we install

Trane, Carrier, Rheem, Goodman, Bosch, and other major brands. We are not tied to one manufacturer, which means we can recommend what actually fits your situation and your budget.

We serve the Sequatchie Valley, Cumberland Plateau, Chattanooga metro, Sand Mountain region, and the state-line towns in Georgia and Alabama.
