Ductwork Design, Installation, and Repair

Reflective flex ducts routed through a Whitwell-area home under construction
Reflective flex ducts cross open trusses above the framed rooms of a new home.

A great HVAC system is only as good as the ductwork that delivers the air. Bad ducts waste money, create hot and cold rooms, make the system run longer, and shorten the life of the equipment.

We design, fabricate, install, seal, and repair residential and light-commercial duct systems. And because we fabricate our own sheet metal in house, we can build exact-fit transitions, plenums, and takeoffs instead of forcing an off-the-shelf part into a space it was never made for.

Signs your ductwork needs work

  • One room is always hotter or colder than the rest
  • Weak airflow at the far vents
  • High energy bills even after replacing the equipment
  • Dust builds up quickly after a cleaning
  • Visible damage, disconnected sections, or crushed flex duct
  • Whistling, rumbling, or other noises when the system runs
  • Duct in unconditioned space with no insulation or torn insulation

New construction, retrofits, and repairs

On new construction we work with builders to design and install duct systems that match the equipment and the house. On retrofits, we redesign or repair what is there. On repair calls, we can seal leaks, replace damaged sections, add returns where they should have been in the first place, and reroute ducts around remodels.

In-house metal fabrication

This is where we have an advantage over a lot of local competitors. If a stock part is not the right fit, we do not force it. We build the piece the job needs.
